Ramon Marmolejos

Associate Consultant

Ramon Marmolejos is an Associate Consultant of The FutureWork Institute with a focus on conducting organizational assessments, planning and facilitating multi-day workshops, designing curriculum and leading scenario planning sessions. As a core consultant and former COO of The FutureWork Institute, he has facilitated numerous Diversity and Inclusion training sessions around issues of race, gender, culture, and generational diversity, along with management skills training in emotional intelligence, working in virtual teams and innovation.

He has delivered Diversity and Inclusion consulting work in a variety of industries, including financial services, media, pharmaceutical and consumer goods companies and for clients such as AstraZeneca, Burson-Marsteller, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Ogilvy & Mather and Unilever. He has managed projects and performed consulting assignments for major global organizations in the areas of organizational development, change management, capability building, leadership development, human capital strategy and inclusive workplaces. Examples of previous consulting projects include:

  • Project managing a global organizational assessment of a major financial services firm across four continents
  • Coordinating the sales training of over 3,000 pharmaceutical representatives over three days
  • Developing a recruiting strategy for a global advertising firm
  • Developing an Hispanic marketing strategy for a public relations firm
  • Creating an innovation strategy and process redesign for a major manufacturing company.

Ramon is a former strategy consultant for Monitor Group and founder of Emzingo Group, a hybrid leadership and enterprise development company. Emzingo’s NexGen Program matches groups of graduate students with NGOs, SMEs and social entrepreneurs in Johannesburg, South Africa, for six to eight week consulting projects.

His previous experience includes managing corporate partnerships for a national education non-profit organization and working within the strategic planning team of Pepsi-Cola North America.

Ramon graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and completed an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish and has spent time living and working in a variety of different geographies, including the United States, Europe and Africa.
